OMG, Franck! invites artists and designers to participate in this year's edition with experiences in moving images, video art and installations, AR, XR art, club visuals, and immersive media formats that expand the dialogue between art and club culture within a singular industrial setting.

OMG, Franck! invites artists, VJs, and designers to participate in this year's edition with video art, AR, XR, moving images, live visuals, and immersive media formats that expand the dialogue between art, sub- and club culture.
Taking place during Basel Art Week, OMG, Franck! transforms an industrial venue into a hybrid environment of installations, a listening room, a pop-up restaurant and a performance space. We are looking for visual practices that activate space, atmosphere, and audience experience. Please note that the works will be presented within the context of a club music festival, in dialogue with sound, light, and movement.
We welcome submissions including:
- ✦Video art & moving image works
- ✦AR, XR art
- ✦Video installations
- ✦Post-photography art works
- ✦Generative or real-time visuals
- ✦Experimental and immersive media formats
- ✦Any individual or collective can submit one or several works
- ✦We encourage proposals that challenge conventional presentation modes and create sensory, site-specific experiences.
- ✦Selected artists will present their work across fashion runway presentations, a gastronomic context (pop-up restaurant), club-settings, and time-based performances throughout the festival.

Presentation format
OMG, Franck! takes place in a raw industrial site and embraces its unfinished architectural character. Works may be presented on untreated walls, temporary structures, screens, or outdoor surfaces across both indoor and outdoor areas.
The festival team will determine the final placement and display of all works. Due to the site-specific nature of the event, artists cannot prescribe specific presentation conditions. Flexibility and openness toward unconventional spatial situations are essential.
We offer:
- ✦Presentation during OMG, Franck! as part of Basel Art Week from 15–20 June 2026
- ✦Technical support
- ✦Access to the festival's creative network
- ✦Visibility within an international art and culture audience
- ✦An artist fee/honorarium of CHF 200 per presented artist. Travel/production costs are not covered.
