In June 2025, we celebrated the first edition of OMG, Franck! Set on the former industrial grounds of Franck Areal, the festival became one of Basel Art Week’s most vibrant hotspots. A meeting point for subculture and club culture DJ sets, electronic live acts, and the essential in-between space where you don’t just watch, you stay. Every day from late afternoon into the night, it was a place to drop in, link up, and discover something new.

The music didn't stop at the door – it went out on air. With Radio X – Basel’s leading non-commercial radio station – broadcasting daily, the festival became a public studio local scenes and touring acts sharing one signal.

Days were shaped by collectives and labels. Not “headliners,” but communities curating a program centred on club culture, listening sessions, dancefloor history, and future-facing club music – from ambient and bass sounds to reggaeton.
